When Does the Festival Open?
Weekend Ticket Holders: Gates open from 12pm on Friday, 30th August.
Set up camp, settle in and enjoy acoustic artists, street food and pop up bars throughout the afternoon
Lakeside Stage performances from 5pm.
Friday Night Ticket Holders: from 5pm – Midnight
Saturday Day Ticket Holders: from 10:30am – Midnight
Saturday Night Ticket Holders: from 5pm – Midnight
When Does the Festival Close?
The last performance is 11pm on 31st August
The festival site closes for Weekend Ticket Holders with Camping at 2pm on 1st September
Enjoy breakfast and brunch, morning lakeside family activities and health and well being classes before leaving the festival.
Is there parking close to the venue?
Yes. A large stewarded car park is available close to the main entrance gate. The venue car park will be well sign posted from all main routes to the venue.
We also have an accessible disabled car park. Disabled badges will be required to access this car park. If you have any special requests or need assistance with disabled parking or access questions please email us with your details or call.
Is there any public transport?
Mainline trains run to the nearest towns of Llandeilo, Carmarthen & Llandovery.
Taxis can be booked at these locations.

Please note: The Big Cwtch tent campsites and glamping campsite have NO vehicle access. Camping sites are a 2 minute walk from the Big Cwtch car park and close to the main festival site and stage areas. Wheelbarrows and helpers will be available at the main entrance next to the wristband collection area for campers to move your kit to the site.
We also have a live-in vehicle campsite for camper vans and caravans with easy access and in walking distance of the festival site. Strictly no tents other than Disabled Access Ticket Holders are allowed in the live-in vehicle site.
Disabled campers with tents will be located in the motorhome campsite to accommodate access and transport requirements. For full information please view our Access Pages
Sorry we are a green field site and as such there are no electric hook ups available.
All camping must be pre-booked as space is limited and available on a first booked basis.

Are there any ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
Photo ID regarding the age of adults and children and NUS or ISICS membership for students attending may be requested at the box office. All children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an Adult. All Children’s tickets must be booked alongside a full adult or concession ticket.
The Big cwtch operates the ‘Challenge 21’ policy. If you look under 21 please do not be offended if we ask you for proof of age when you buy alcohol. Please bring proof of ID to show you are over 18.
DO YOU ACCEPT credit cards on site?
The Big Cwtch is a cash only site in a rural location.
Sorry NO credit card or cash machine facilities will be available at the festival or in the local area.
Can I bring food or alcohol to the festival?
NO FOOD OR ALCOHOL WILL BE ALLOWED ONTO THE MAIN FESTIVAL SITE
ONLY FOOD & ALCOHOL PURCHASED AT THE FESTIVAL FROM OFFICIAL VENDORS MAY BE CONSUMED IN THE NON CAMPING AREAS OF THE SITE
The Big Cwtch is a charity music and food festival with an awesome range of festival food and bars to choose from. This years food line up includes award winning Street Food Traders from across Wales plus a range of bars from the ‘Wonky Table‘ our local pub serving ales, beers and wine, the ‘Box of Frogs Artisan Gin Bar and for late night revealer check out the Apres Ski Bar.
The Big Cwtch is a charity fundraising festival and 100% of all profits from the bars go directly to our fundraising targets, plus a % of all food takings so please enjoy, indulge and help us raise loads of money for our fabulous charities.
Note: Whilst no food or alcohol will be allowed on the main festival site, Weekend Camping Ticket Holders will be allowed to bring a small and restricted supply of food and alcohol per person for consumption in the campsite areas.
Weekend Camping Tickets Holders can bring in the following alcohol provision for consumption in the campsite;
EITHER: 8 cans beer / lager / cider per person
- OR: 4 cans and 1 bottle of wine (decanted into a plastic bottle) per person.
Strictly no spirits or hard liquor are allowed on site. The organisers and security teams reserve the right to confiscate excessive amounts of alcohol and food at the entrance gate.
- You may only bring this provision in on your first entry. Please note that searches will be carried out at the entrance gate to ensure this is complied with. If you leave the site, you may be searched again on you return and any alcohol will be confiscated.
- This alcohol and food may only be consumed in the campsite. Please note absolutely No Food or Alcohol will be allowed into the festival areas from the campsites, and these areas will be strictly policed by the event security team.
We have a zero drug tolerance on both possession and taking of drugs at The Big Cwtch. Anyone found in possession of drugs or under the influence of drugs will be asked to leave the event immediately.
Bag searches will be in place to ensure festival security for all festival goers, and to enforce the food, alcohol and drugs policy.
Amnesty bins will be located in the box office area.
Can I bring my dog (AND OR ANY OTHER ANIMALS) TO THE FESTIVAL?
We are sorry, but unfortunately only registered assistance dogs are allowed on the festival site.
This is due to the licensing restrictions and beyond the organisers control, please make alternative arrangements for any pets.
First Aid and Emergencies
A fully qualified medic team will be onsite at The Big Cwtch throughout the event. The organising team and organisers office will be situated in the entrance to the main grounds which will be clearly signed in case of emergencies.
There is 24hr security and management onsite.

Is my ticket transferable?
Tickets are non transferable all e-tickets will be exchanged for a Big Cwtch wristband at the Box Office
Can I refund my ticket?
Once issued tickets cannot be refunded in any circumstances, other than the total cancellation of the event, when only the face value of the ticket will be refunded.
We have working farms all around us please be considerate of our lovely neighbours two and four legged, and take notice of the no entry signs.
Help us protect the environment, our beautiful festival site and the local countryside by taking all your litter and camping kit home. Recycling bins are located throughout the festival site.
