Sian Wintle - Massage & Reiki
"If you're looking for an intuitive treatment tailored specifically to you, rather than a routine massage, I'm your gal. Clients have told me I get right to their tension, finding the exact places that need some TLC, whilst leaving them feeling relaxed and nourished. A treatment from me is an organic, collaborative affair, where you are free to decide how long we spend on each area within the allocated session, what level of pressure we use on each area and how much or how little we talk. You are welcome to choose a relaxing or energising massage, reiki treatment or a mixture of both. As well as being a massage therapist and reiki practitioner I am also a yoga teacher and somatic movement coach, which means I can offer you some nice moves to do at home if you regularly experience tension".
Hefina Evans - Bowen Therapy
I have been a Bowen Therapist for 7 years now and also qualified to treat horses three years ago. Bowen Therapy is a soft tissue based therapy that's suitable for all ages and all manner of problems ranging from the usual 'bad back' to sports injuries, migraines, pregnancy/fertility issues, anxiety/depression, general musculoskeletal issues and many, many more. It's also ideal for general relaxation and can dramatically improve one's general health and wellbeing, both physically and mentally. If you're a sports person, then Bowen can also help optimise performance by helping the body stay balanced and strong. The treatment is very gentle but extremely powerful and effective.
Sonia Ragini Hopwood
Sonia Ragini Hopwood - Pilates
Pilates develops and enhances core strength and stability. In Pilates the focus is primarily on the deep postural muscles that run across the pelvis and support our backs whilst mobilising, lengthening and generally rebalancing all muscles in the body. In yoga, the movement is powerful and subtle at the same time. Yoga is powerful yet calming on the mind. After many years of experience both practicing and teaching Yoga and Pilates, I have recently become a student of Osteopathy and started developing manual physical therapy skills. Soft tissue manipulation aims to improve mobility and circulation, due to inactivity or increased tension. It is also used to help mobilise scar tissue, thereby preventing long term recurrence of inflammation.
